I am struck by how compatible with the Bible this material is, particularly the "Know Yourself" section. There is even a Biblical quote that isn't acknowledged as such. Even if one isn't impressed with the need for this in humanitarian terms, or tune in to the Biblical compatibility, by which we would see ourselves as entrusted as stewards of God's creation, one might see the value of the impact such journaling of what we buy as leading to a better handle on our financial well-being.

i'm prone to doing just about anything for anybody. i figger that's why god recently put me in a wheelchair and took part of my brain away, just to slow me down. that god's got quite a sense of humour...
